What Myndauto collects, why, and who sees it.

Who we are
Myndauto is run by NDAI in Minot, North Dakota. This notice covers myndauto.com.
What you send us
When you use a form on Myndauto, such as Check Availability, Ask, Request a hold, Buy it, Find it for me, Sell my car or the dealer form, we receive what you type: your name, email and phone number, your message, and the details that form asks for, like a trade-in or the car you’re selling.
The form also sends the vehicle and dealer you asked about, the page you were on, the page that brought you there, and your browser type.
What happens with a request
A person on the Myndauto team in Minot reads it, contacts the dealer, and gets back to you by phone, text or email about your request. We share with the dealer the details they need to answer you, such as your name, contact details and question. For Find it for me and Sell my car, we check with local dealers and share the details they need.
What we record when you browse
To see how the site is used, we record when a vehicle page is viewed, when a request form is opened, and when someone clicks through to a dealer’s website or taps a dealer’s phone number. Each record has the page, the vehicle and dealer, and a random visit number your browser keeps until you close the tab. It doesn’t include your name or contact details.
Links to dealer websites carry a tag that tells the dealer the visit came from Myndauto.
Searching and talking
Words you type or say in the search are sent to an AI service, Anthropic’s Claude, that turns them into search filters. Your search words also appear in the page address, so you can share the results.
When you tap Talk, your browser’s own speech recognition turns your voice into words. Some browsers, like Chrome, send the audio to the browser maker to do this. Myndauto receives the words, not a recording.
Cookies and trackers
Myndauto doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use advertising or outside analytics trackers. Your browser keeps a few small notes for the open tab, like the visit number and your place on a results page.
If you save cars, your browser keeps that list on your phone or computer so it’s there when you come back. Myndauto doesn’t keep a copy, and clearing your browser’s data clears it.
Services we use
The site is hosted by Vercel. Requests and the browsing records above are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Search words go to Anthropic, as described above.
Payments
Myndauto never asks for or takes card or payment details.
